New Haven Dumpster Rental Cheat Sheet
Renting from New Have Dumpsters is already pretty easy, and right now we’re going to make it even easier! Here you’ll find everything you need to know to prepare for your dumpster rental.
- Before delivery, clear a space on your property large enough for your dumpster and with at least 20 feet of overhead clearance. Make sure the hauler has a clear path to this space from the street.
- Fill your dumpster with anything except hazardous materials, like oils, paints, and car batteries.
- Keep in mind, the landfill charges extra to dispose of appliances, electronics, mattresses, box springs, and tires. For this reason, we charge an additional $25 for each such item.
- Your rental period is 10 days. You can call for pickup or to order additional dumpsters anytime during that period.
- You MUST call to schedule pickup before your 10 day rental period is up. This is to ensure that we don’t haul your container away before your project is done. If you keep your dumpster past the rental period, we charge $10 per additional day.
- Fill your dumpster evenly as you work. This will help ensure that you stay within your weight limit.
- When it’s time for pickup, make sure no debris is hanging over the dumpster’s sides. If there is, the hauler won’t be able to take it.
